Independent studio practice with technical support

Guided Open Studio

Guided Open Studio is intended for returning Pietra Viva participants and makers who already have experience working with stone carving equipment.

This format offers dedicated studio time to continue developing personal projects in a professional workshop environment, with access to equipment and technical support whenever needed.

Whether you are refining a technique, completing an unfinished project or exploring a new idea, the session is designed to provide the space, tools and guidance necessary to move your work forward.

Unlike the Intro and Intensive workshops, Guided Open Studio is not structured around a specific learning programme. Participants work independently on their own projects while receiving advice and technical assistance throughout the day.
